Description
The Carnon Valley and viaduct during the snow in March 2018.
The original railway viaduct over the Carnon River at Perranwell on the Falmouth-Truro branch line was built in 1863 and replaced in 1933 by this stone structure in 1933.
The old masonry piers which supported Brunel's original wooden trellises that carried the railwaystructure stand alongside the later viaduct over the Carnon valley.
