Description
The Kenidjack Valley in the far west of Cornwall is a beautiful place and the derelict remains of the industrial past make it a fascinating one too. It is one of my favourite places.
The closer chimney is the remains of Boswedden Mine Stamps Engine House. In the distance across Porthledden Cove is Cape Cornwall.
The 28″ stamps engine next to the Tregaseal River was damaged in the Great Freeze of 1892 and what was left was used for demolition practice during WWII.
