Description
The headland at Kenidjack with the cliff castle perched on top.
The dramatic lighting made an already fantastic landscape look spectacular.
We were told the house had no television or telephone as the location between Kenidjack and Cape Cornwall made it impossible to get a signal. With views like that who needs a television. A real retreat from the modern world.
Kenidjack Cliff Castle is one of several Iron Age promontory forts that have been found in exposed coastal locations on the Penwith peninsula in the far west of Cornwall.
Kenidjack has a rich industrial history, including engine houses perched on the edge of dramatic cliffs and Bronze Age burial cairns.
