Description
The walk from the top of the hill by Wheal Call Cottage down to Porthledden Cove is beautiful. The views and the wildlife are spectacular.
In the sheltered Kenidjack Valley next to Tregaseal River are the remains of Boswedden Mine which stretches up the north coast from Cape Cornwall to Botallack and is an amalgamation of a number of smaller workings.
Pictured here is the remains of the housing for the water wheal and some of the rusting remains of a engine used to pump water up to the Wheal Call Cottage on the hill above.
