Description
Lemon Hill in Mylor Bridge Cornwall hasn't changed much in over a hundred years.
This photograph taken from the bridge shows Blacksmith's Cottage near right, The doctors surgery and Mylor Parish Hall. The old forge used to stand where the doctors is but the makeshift building didn't withstand the test of time. The shop and cottages up the hill are still the same, on the outside at least.
On the left with the white porch is The Tremayne Institute, once a Mission Sunday School, now a snooker hall.
It is fascinating to compare this image with one in the Mylor History Group collection taken in 1910.
