Fields across England have blossomed into a vivid yellow hue in the recent warm weather, as this year's oilseed rape shows its colours and the heavy scent of the blooms fills the air.
Record numbers of the nation's farmers are cashing in on the soaring price of oil from rapeseed by turning over a bigger proportion of their fields to the crop. Oil from rapeseed is commonly sold as the main ingredient in vegetable oil and used both in the home and in food production.
