Description
The coastline and protective cliffs at Kynance in Cornwall.
Located on the west side of the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall, 2 miles from Lizard Point, the most southerly point of England, is Kynance Cove.
Kynance is a unique place with it's beaches, caves and towering rock formations made of serpentine. It`s beach, known in geomorphological terms as a `Tombolo`, connects Asparagus Island to the mainland. The colourful serpentine rock is used to carve ornaments and souvenirs.
