Description
The Norman church of St Senara next to the Tinners Arms pub in the remote parish of Zennor between St Ives and St Just, on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall. That is the main road running through the pretty hamlet.
Two medieval bench-ends remain in the church and have been made into a seat. One end is the famous carving of the Mermaid of Zennor. She holds a comb and a mirror in her hands. The cafe in Zennor is called the Moomaid of Zennor, serving some of the best ice-cream around!
