Description
As summer arrives in Mylor Bridge so do the pleasure boats. The houses around the creek have mooring rights but they take their boats out of the water during the winter months.
Who would believe looking at this peaceful scene that there was a bustling tide mill at the quay here, now the car park, and a busy coal yard within living memory.
Mylor Bridge is one of the most beautiful villages on the network of creeks off the Fal River. In days gone by there would have been ships bringing trade here, but now it is the peaceful partner to the more bustling Mylor. Mylor Creek joins the River Fal and Carrick Roads at Mylor Yacht Harbour which is the heart of a yachting and pleasure craft paradise.
