Every time a British athlete won a gold medal in the Olympic or Paralympic Games in 2012 the Royal Mail painted a post box gold in their home town.
Hamble's golden post box is sited in Hamble Square in honour of Olympic gold medal winning cyclist Dani King.
Dani brought home the Gold medal as part of GB�s women�s team pursuit at the Olympic velodrome.
Hamble is well known for it's yaching community hence the engraved bollard.
