A high spring tide on a beautiful evening in May. The old red boat is looking handsome as the sun sets on this tranquil scene.
That isn't a beach in the bottom left corner, that is the car park and the benches I love to sit on and watch the wading birds at low tide are surrounded by water.
When the high spring tides happen in Mylor Bridge the sea comes over the edge of Mill Quay and into the car park and if the weather is behind it the water can rise into Trevellan Road.
