Description
The original White Hart Hotel built in 1824 in Hayle is to the left of the grander one built later in 1838. It is now used as the Masonic Hall.
The first White Hart Hotel was built by the shipyard and foundry owner, Henry Harvey for his sister Jane who was married to the famous Cornish engineer, Richard Trevithick.
The Iron Foundry was established in Hayle in 1779 by John Harvey , Henry's father.
