Description
On the cliffs between St Agnes and Porthtowan sits the ruins of Wheal Coates Mine.
The area is most notable for its three engine houses and in particular the iconic Towanroath Shaft engine house, which is now a Grade II listed building and a popular spot with photographers as the sun goes down.
