Description
A digitally altered image of beautiful Truro Cathedral in Cornwall.
The cathedral contains the world's largest stained glass project ever made and has a 6ft bend in
the main body of the Cathedral which is noticeable when you stand at an end and look down the length of the building inside. It was done so that a block of land further to the south didn't have to be purchased which would further have escalated the building costs
Truro is also unique in the fact that it contains a church within a church. St Mary's Aisle is what remains of the original parish church, now incorporated into the structure of the Cathedral.
I was standing next to the original church spire when I took this photograph as it is in the cathedral grounds.
