Description
Cape Cornwall was thought to be the most westerly point in Britain until the Ordnance Survey revealed that was actually at Land's End, ever so slightly to the south west.
St Helen's Oratory can be seen in the field below the chimney stack.
Said to have once been home to a prison, Brisons Rocks, known as 'General de Gaulle in his bath', have caused many shipwrecks in their time but now are an important breeding ground for seabirds.
Wheal Call cottage was a Count House to the local mine and and due to it's position it has no wifi, TV and mobile reception. Bliss!
