Description
After scrambling up the very steep and very muddy path from the car park at Gwithian I peered over the cliff edge and was rewarded with the sight of the Godrevy seals and their pups, some flopped out on the beach and others playing in the sea at Mutton Cove.
Mutton Cove, just past Godrevy head on the north coast of Cornwall is home to a large colony of Grey Seals, one place where seal spotting is guaranteed any time of the year. Numbers begin to increase in autumn, and by January you can see over 100 fully grown seals and their new pups.
