Description
The Polpeor Cafe sweet, lovely to share after the medley of fish. Homemade Jubilee Meringe served with blackberry and apple compote, Cornish ice cream and Cornish cream, all home made on the spot.
Polpeor Cafe proudly lays claim to being the most southerly cafe in mainland Britain. It enjoys a stunning position perched perilously on the edge of the steep cliffs of the Lizard Penninsular in Cornwall, the far west of England, under the flash of the substantial new Lighthouse..
The old lifeboat station built in 1885, the 3rd on the Lizard Peninsilar and the 4th build in 1914 are visible down the slipway at the beach in Polpeaor Cove.
You can eat your meal while watching the seals in the sea and if you are really lucky the dolphins may come to play in the crystal clear waters below.
