Description
A red telephone box in Southampton England outside South Western House, the hotel occupied by first class passengers the night before boarding the ill fated RMS Titanic.
South Western House, formerly the South Western Hotel, Southampton, Hampshire was where many rich and famous people stayed the night before sailing on the Titanic due to it's close proximity to Southampton Docks.
On the day of Titanic's departure the area would have been buzzing, with travellers checking out of the hotel and their luggage being brought down to the ship.
