Artist's Description
The Picturesque Dane Cottage, Five Bells Lane, Nether Wallop, which is believed to date from the 17th century and is a Grade II listed building, enjoys a fabulous location within the heart of the village, close to the village Green and is within walking distance of the pub and off licence/shop.
This is the property that was used as Miss Marple's home in the fictional village of St. Mary Mead for the BBC adaptations of the Agatha Christie Miss Marple novels. The house and many of the surrounding lanes within the village were used as the fictional village setting and are commonly seen throughout many of the Miss Marple films where Joan Hickson played Miss Marple.
Dane Cottage has been extensively but tastefully renovated since it was originally built.
About Terri Waters
Hello, I am Terri Waters, born in London UK in the last century, now happily settled in Mylor Bridge, Cornwall. Every morning when I pull back my curtains there is a whole new day asking to be explored and I can't wait to grab my camera, get on my bicycle and see where the road takes me. As a designer I venture into digital art every now and again. A change is as good as a rest for my legs and my bike. Sometimes an idea pops into my head from nowhere and I can't wait to produce an image to convey it to the outside world. Would you like your own photographs made perfect or your own works of art given a new twist for more variety of prints from your originals?
