Description
Carrick Roads is usually associated with the boating activities but these easterly facing sheltered locations can be good spots to sit and watch the world go by and Restronguet (or Restronguet Passage) has the added advantage being next to a well known and popular pub especially by those on the water.
Being sheltered from the prevailing south westerly winds the River Fal is a haven for yachtsmen. During the Winter months the Falmouth working boats can often still be seen dredging for oysters under sail alone, as they have done for centuries.
