Description
A Ring-Tailed Coati (Nasua nasua) up a tree with added textures
Coatis have strong front legs and long claws which are very useful when foraging and climbing in trees. Coatis have flexible ankles that make them able to climb down trees head first.
They also have a long snout and an excellent sense of smell, which they use for finding their food among the leaves of the forest floor.
