Description
South west coat path walkers in England find out the Sennen Cove harbour wall leads no where before doubling back to head off to Lands End.
Cornwall has the longest coastline in Britain and offers everything a walker could want. There are ancient path ways and rights of way established by the miners, fishermen and farm workers over the centuries. Cliff top walks have stunning views and the beauty of the landscape keeps changing with the weather and the seasons.
The harbour wall breakwater in Sennen Cove was constructed in 1908. The breakwater provides shelter from southwesterly seas for the small fishing harbour and the lifeboat station.
Sennen Cove still retains much of the atmosphere of an old fishing village, with a small number of local fishing boats plying their trade from the harbour.
